This is a guide to help you, members, to make your profile a bit more private, because I noticed that anyone who may be just pArseing the site could easily see your email, while this may not be too big of an issue it may make you a bit uneasy, so here are steps to making your profile more private.

This is a guide to help you, members, to make your profile a bit more private, because I noticed that anyone who may be just pArseing the site could easily see your email, while this may not be too big of an issue it may make you a bit uneasy, so here are steps to making your profile more private.
Step 1; At the top of every page you find youself on, you can see the MCWorld's banner at the top of the page, and below that there is a bar which has many links on it; yours should have less because I'm a mod, but it will look similar to this --
-- You should click the word 'Profile' {Which is circled in the picture above}.
Step 2; After clicking 'Profile' you will be faced with this, except with your own details --
- Birthday visiblity has a few options, whichever you are most comfortable with is okay, however I personally suggest not to show the year of your birth if you are under 18 years of age; if at all.
It would be appreciated if you didn't post; I am a bit obsessive and would like to keep this thread tidy, plus I intend to add other parts to it. ^^
Step 2; After clicking 'Profile' you will be faced with this, except with your own details --
-- At the top right hand corner of this there is a little button labelled 'Edit Profile' and you must click this.
Step 3; When you go to edit your profile, you will have many, many options {As shown below}: the first interface you will gain access to is your 'avatar' interface which allows you to have a picture on each post you make --
-- However, once you are here you should click on the little button which is labelled 'Privacy'.
Step 4; You will be faced with another; different looking interface, like this --
-- among the options, one is 'Email Visibility' and this has different options, and yours should defaulty be set to 'Share with everyone'; however you can change it to 'share with registered members'; 'share with friends and staff'; or 'share with staff only'. You may set as any you wish but the two setting I recommend are 'share with friends and staff'; and 'share with staff only'.
Additional Step 5; Whilst you are still on the 'Privacy setting' page you can edit even more to make your profile more private --

'Who Can View My Profile'
- This has two settings 'everyone' and 'members only' -- Maybe you do not wish for unregistered users to view your profile, that is alright, you can edit that!
'Gender Visibility'
- Quite simply 'Yes' or 'No', either is okay, however you may prefer not to let anyone know your gender.
'Birthday visibility'
